Whew! It's REALLY been a long time since I posted something. I guess work really took me out. Too tired to even open my computer.
So anyway, I did finally have some time to browse the net. So I'm here..teeheehee
Well, here's something I made a few weeks back. I had some problems especially with the head. He looks like an alien or something and I just couldn't get it quite well. I'll take care of that sooner or later. I'm very happy with the body though.
It's still a WIP and I have no time to finish this yet. I'm doing something for a friend and that's top priority.
It has been a while since my last post here, I guess I was a little busy with one of my project.
But anyway, here's my version of a clip from one of ragingmon's work. This has some flaws since I cannot find the vector setting for the particles. This version is much softer than ragingmon's.(And i mean it in a bad way..T_T) I really hope i could find that vector setting.
As I got addicted with this work, expect that there will be a lot more of this kind.
Walking mindlessly around the house looking for some good models (...not the ones walking on the ramp ^_^), I still couldn't find the ones I can create according to my level. I even tried looking around when walking outside, going to malls, or going to work. Still nothing.
Staring blindly on my computer screen, I glanced upon the icon of GIMP, and then an idea has struck again. Let's make GIMP logo "fatter" apart from its plain, flat face.
Luckily, I've made a whole head of Wilber, that's what I'm going to call him here. (Using "GIMP's logo" seems a bit improper, since he's not merely an image but an "ICON" to every GIMP users)
Anyway, I used the one that shows up on the splash screen when GIMP (v2.4) starts.
I made this for 2 days total, with a little bit of drowsiness, headache and eye sores ( since I worked at night and I haven't slept all day), I finally came up with this. Yehey!!
I really love water because of their fluidity, you can see how free they are to move around. I wanted to be like the water. (not their liquid state but their freedom..^^) But anyway, to the real purpose of this post.
A few weeks of stressing my mind what to make after the Toyota Logo. I said to myself, "I want to create something different". It was raining outside while I was lying down thinking of what to make. Then, an idea struck me. Why wouldn't I make some water...( Let there be water!!)
So, I searched the net for some tutorials and then started creating the fluidity-fluid-water. This is a bit noob ( since I am a noob), later versions will be different and much perfect than this one.
Toyota's Logo put into perspective from a flat one. This is a flat logo of Toyota I ripped from the net.
I used Bezier Curves and some simple lightings and added a lightning background to spice up the logo. Though the lighting is a bit simple, I can't get a good position to have good lighting. I just can't position it anyplace because I don't want casting any shadows to prevent ruining the background image.
